Mexico – Doves – Flying Back!
Close to home in San Fernando, Mexico. Our Tamaulipas Hacienda is considered the hottest shooting in Ol’ Mexico, with great service, food, amenities, and the hospitality of Old Mexico. Call us today for a spectacular dove, quail, duck, goose or combo hunt. Less than two hours by van from the Texas border, but a world away. This convenient, comfortable getaway is perfectly situated near the largest white-winged dove nesting area in the world and in the middle of thousands of acres of sorghum, corn, and sunflower fields. Known as the breadbasket of Mexico, this area in the state of Tamaulipas is ideal habitat for white-winged and mourning dove, and for huge coveys of Wild Bobwhite Quail — only minutes from the lodge.
Accommodating up to 30 guests, every effort is made to avoid mixing groups. Rooms are large and comfortable with private baths and large walk-in showers. Over two decades’ experience ensure your shoot will create memories that last a lifetime.
Extensive pre-hunt scouting minimizes drive times to the shooting areas. We do not recommend trying to take your own firearms, a selection of fine Beretta shotguns are available.
This destination is a 6-hunt package with guests coming in on Thursday, hunting Thursday afternoon, Friday morning and evening, Saturday morning and evening, Sunday morning, and leaving out Sunday afternoon. Groups may also come in on Sunday afternoon; hunt Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday twice a day, and leave out Thursday morning.
