Located in CALAMUCHITA'S VALLEY in the Province of Cordoba, Argentina. This valley belongs to the Sierras de Córdoba and is known for its "Tour of the Great Lakes,” its forests, ravines, and overall rough territory. Some of the best south amereican red stag hunting.
Calamuchita’s Valley is in the Southwest of the Province of Córdoba and is an important tourist destination. The center of this region is the small city of Santa Rosa de Calamuchita and to the north and up to the Sierras de Cordoba is the town of Villa General Belgrano is well known for its European Alps look and feel. It has a temperate climate all year around, with frequent snowfalls in winter (it’s the austral winter, so snowfall is mainly in July). It has a hilly and mountainous terrain and the South Valley area is of volcanic origin. In the Central-Western part of the valley there are several faults. Getting to the lodge is easy as there are daily flights to Cordoba from Buenos Aires, or through Santiago, Chile.

Hunting on HORSEBACK in Calamuchita’s Valley, which is surrounded with huge mountains, deep ravines, and hidden valleys, makes for a great adventure afield and a real fair chase hunt. These horses provide unbeatable access to this beautiful land and the view from the saddle is the most scenic, although you can choose a well-prepared and safe pick-up truck.
RED STAG prime roar is March - mid April, however, post roar hunting is still excellent, exciting and challenging. You will be able to hunt RED DEER until July 31st.
WATER BUFFALO are also very plentiful, making this a very exciting up-close and personal hunt that can be arranged year-round. BLACK BUCK ANTELOPE is always a client favorite to spot and stalk along with MOUFLON SHEEP, FALLOW DEER, and MULTI-HORN SHEEP.
Other options feature BOW HUNTING and DANGEROUS GAME. Due to the size and the type of terrain of the property, bow hunters are urged to be very patient and allow for an adequate number of hunting days to ensure a successful hunt.
You may want to consider adding a high-volume dove hunt before and after the big game kill.
